Held at the Esplanade Recital Studio, the concert featured five original compositions inspired by rivers across the globe, each masterfully written by celebrated composers Avik Chari, Gu Wei, Chok Kerong, Dr. John Sharpley, and Eric Watson. The pieces captured the unique energy, culture, and emotion surrounding each river, creating a narrative that was both globally inspired and deeply personal.

Performed by the dynamic NP Collective, the soundscape came alive with rich textures and genre-defying arrangements. The ensemble featured Niranjan Pandian (Music Director | Flute | Konnakol), Bryan De Rozario (Tenor Saxophone), Eshan Denipitiya (Electric Keys), Fabian Lee (Electric Bass), Tan Wen Bin (Cello), T Ramanan (Mridangam), Pravin NJ (Dhol, Dhaasha, Urumi), and S N Muraledharan (Drums). A highlight of the evening was the appearance of renowned Sarangi virtuoso Sarfaraaz Khan, whose evocative playing added profound depth to the performance.

Visually enhanced through immersive multimedia by Vasanthakumar, and expertly staged with audio and lighting design by Mugi Krish and Alberta Wileo respectively, the concert was a feast for the senses. Under the artistic direction of Niranjan Pandian and show direction by Gildon Choo, the production was both cohesive and deeply resonant.
